Inizia a Cartagena l'IKUWA V

Inizierà domani, a Cartagena, la V edizione dell'IKUWA, il maggiore convegno mondiale di archeologia subacquea. Dopo la ricca edizione di Zara, l'evento, inizialmente previsto in Italia e poi dirottato, non senza alcune polemiche e amarezze, sulla città spagnola, permetterà a ricercatori e addetti ai lavori di aggiornarsi sullo stato delle conoscenze, nella disciplina, a livello internazionale.

Numerosi gli interventi in programma, che, all'interno del tema generale 'Heritage for Humanity' affronteranno tematiche di metodologia (nuove tecnologie, conservazione), gestione del patrimonio, ricerca pura, riflessioni sui paesaggi marittimi, protezione in situ, legislazione, e studi sul mare, sui relitti e sulla navigazione dalla preistoria all'età moderna, dal Mediterraneo ai mari più remoti.
